After much soul searching and some often fascinating wordsmithing, we have finally landed on an identity for who we are that truly expresses what we love and champion...good design.

We believe that good design is a sensibility...a how we do things...that allows us to have a more meaningful relationship with buildings and places due to a thoughtfulness of scale, materiality, and a site-relative context. Human experience is how we understand and qualify the built world around us. This engagement of the viewer within the physical realm is at the heart of how we generate design solutions.

Design is our first love, but a strong sustainability consultancy allows us to ensure that architectural solutions meet the burden of our 21st century responsibilities. Designing better buildings means cultivating a working knowledge of current and emerging technologies and materials. It requires a commitment to participating in the ongoing dialogues about finding strategies for homeowners, business owners, municipalities.
